Younger juniors successfully completed the Udine-Subit race
The younger juniors are returning to racing after a break. 🔥 Today they competed in the Udine-Subit race. 🇮🇹 The race was 76 km long with flat laps at the beginning, and at the end an 8 km climb to the village of Subit awaited them. ⛰️
Our riders POGI TEAM UAE GENERALS They controlled the race perfectly on the flat and prevented more dangerous escapes. Immediately after the start of the climb, the group broke up and that's when the real race began.🥵 Of our cyclists, Miha Otoničar performed best on the climb, fighting for the top ten until the very end. Unfortunately, 200 m to the finish line, he barely avoided a fall due to a somewhat unfortunate road closure.😬 Despite this, he won a solid 18th place.👏 Shortly after Miha, Matic Vintar also crossed the finish line in 20th place.💪
Younger and older juniors are heading out tomorrow for preparations that will help them improve their form before the exciting second half of the season.🔥
