The Slovenian women's cycling team, consisting of Urša Pintar, Hana Žumer, Špela Colnar, Pija Galof, Sara Pestotnik, and Zoja Ferlež, finished the four-day Tour de Feminin race today. The race began with a time trial, in which Urša Pintar ranked among the top twenty. In the second stage, there was a major selection, with Urša Pintar managing to stay in the lead and Špela Colnar in the chasing group. Young Sara Pestotnik also performed well. This was followed by a stage made difficult by heavy rain, hail, and crashes. The most difficult stage took place today, with an elevation gain of over 2000 meters. Urša Pintar crossed the finish line in 11th place and climbed to 7th place in the overall standings.
The AG Insurance team dominated. Kopecky Julia won the race, De Vries Femke (GT Krush Rebellease) came second, and Van Sinaey Xaydee, a member of the Belgian national team, came third. Špela Colnar finished the race in 42nd place, Sara Pestotnik in 82nd place. Zoja Ferlež was involved in a crash in the final stage and did not finish the race.
