On Sunday, Komenda hosted the 18th edition of the Komenda Municipality Grand Prix, which once again brought together young hopefuls of Slovenian cycling, amateur cyclists, and competitors for the Slovenian Cup. Almost a hundred preschool and school children gathered at the start of the Lidl Cup for young people, showing off their cycling skills with courage and enthusiasm. There was also a great response in the amateur cyclist category, but the largest crowd was made up of those competing in the Slovenian Cup.
The event was accompanied by a few raindrops, but fortunately the weather did not cause any major problems and the races went smoothly. We are delighted that so many competitors and fans gathered on and around the track, which shows the strong support and love for cycling in our community.
