Grand Prix du Morbihan- Borghesi (BTC CITY LJUBLJANA ZHIRAF AMBEDO) 4th place

In Morbihan, the cyclists also competed in another traditional first category race, the Grand Prix du Morbihan. The same route was used for the 2016 European Championships, where Tadej Pogačar took third place in the junior category.

Today's race was again made difficult by rain, so that a selection was quickly made on the already demanding route. Urša Pintar and Giada Borghesi managed to stay in the main group of 50 cyclists. Two laps before the finish line, Borghesi found herself in a breakaway with nine other cyclists and crossed the finish line in an excellent 6th place.

Urša Pintar also finished the race in the breakaway group, in 36th place. Silvia Persico from the UAE Team Adq won.

After today's race, Giada Borghesi remains the leader in the French Cup.
