In the idyllic Slovenian town of Radovljica, the national road cycling championship "Slovenije National Championship" took place today, which brought an exceptional atmosphere and tense races. Young and experienced cyclists competed on challenging routes, where the titles of national champions in various categories were decided.
In the categories of junior juniors and senior juniors, the competitors overcame three rounds with a total length of 58.5 kilometers and a height difference of 990 meters. In the junior category, Bastian Petrič shone, winning the title of national champion with his exceptional driving and endurance. Marcel Skok took third place among the older juniors, and both competitors are members of the POGI TEAM UAE GENERALI team.
In the senior junior category, Ema Podberšič from the BTC CITY LJUBLJANA SCOTT team climbed to the top, and with her outstanding performance, she convincingly won the national champion title. Among the members, the national champion was Urška Pintar, also from the BTC CITY LJUBLJANA SCOTT team. Both cyclists showed exceptional strength, endurance and cycling skills.
In the members' category, the race took place on a challenging 156-kilometer route, which included eight laps and a 2,640-meter elevation difference. The riders tackled the challenges the course offered, including two short climbs. In this extremely competitive race, Anže Skok from the LJUBLJANA GUSTO SANTIC team took 10th place, while Tadej Pogačar, a member of the UAE team, established himself at the top, who shone and deservedly crowned himself the national champion.
In addition to the national championship in Radovljica, POGI TEAM UAE GENERALI riders also competed in a race in Italy. In the boys' category A, Miha Otoničar won first place with a 40-second advantage over his pursuers, while Urban Hvastja took fifth place in the boys' category B.

Competitors tackled difficult challenges, overcame difficult climbs and impressed the spectators with exceptional driving.
