Pogi Team juniors continue their winning streak in international cycling races
This time at a prestigious race Carnia Julium Classic 2023 in Italy. Despite the strong competition and the demanding route of 70 kilometers, our boys once again proved their cycling skills and combativeness.
The race started with a series of flat laps, where our riders already showed exceptional driving and skilfully covered the attacks of their opponents. As the race turned into the final climb, a larger group of riders formed. The boys got along perfectly and with teamwork put Vanja Kuntarič Žibert in an excellent starting point for attacking the top.
As the finish approached, Vanja showed tremendous strength and stamina and attacked a kilometer before the end of the climb. With a fast pace, he already gained a good advantage over the other competitors. However, his charge was caught just 50 meters from the finish line as Italy's Magagnotti overtook him to claim victory.
Despite this, Vanja Kuntarič Žibert won an excellent second place in the race, which is an extraordinary achievement for a young cyclist. Congratulations to the entire team for their excellent teamwork, as they contributed to Vanja's success with their tactical driving and support.
This result proves that our young riders are in great shape and are ready for the challenges of international racing. Their fighting spirit, perseverance and team spirit are a true example for all fans and young cyclists who want to achieve success in cycling races.
Sincere congratulations to Vanja Kuntarič Žibert and the entire team for an outstanding achievement at the Carnia Julium Classic 2023 race in Italy! With such inspiration and hard work, they will certainly continue their successful cycling journey.
