A successful weekend for the cyclists of our club!

In the past few days, our female cyclists achieved exceptional results in various competitions, both at home and abroad.

10.08.2024 – CRITERION ILIRSK BISTRICA

At the Ilirska Bistrica Criterium, Taja Mehle won in the largest category, senior juniors. Behind her on the podium were Vesna Potočnik in second place and Sara Pestotnik in third place. Katarina Jančič was second among the members, who was only behind the winner Hana Žumer.

11/08/2024 - ILIRSK BISTRICA - VIŠČAKI

Lina Mehle and Katarina Jančič successfully completed the ascent of Svisčake, which took place a day later.

14.08.2024 – 3° CIRCUITO ROSA DELL' ASSUNTA

Our female cyclists have also shown their excellence on international soil. Sara Pestotnik won first place at the 3° Circuito Rosa dell'Assunta in Vittorio Veneto, Italy, which is another great success for our club.

Older juniors raced in neighboring Austria, in Klagenfurt at the Damen Bundesligarennen Klagenfurter Ring Eva Potočnik won absolute 3rd place
